The High School invites all seniors and their parents to an informational presentation on February 21st at 5:30 in our library to learn about an exciting concept for our 2018 seniors that districts throughout Jackson County are implementing. This initiative, Jackson County Early College, provides an opportunity for students to earn college credits at little to no cost to you. Through this program, students may earn several college credits toward an Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s degree, or a certification.. We hope you can take the time to come and learn about this new opportunity for your student.

2nd semester parent teacher conferences at the Secondary building are as follows: Thursday February 22nd is a half day for students, release at 12:10. Our Parent Teacher Conferences are from 1:15-5:45 on that Thursday. For Friday February 23rd we have a half day with students released at 12:10 with no conferences being scheduled that day.

JCHD Smiles On Wheels will be at EJ Secondary School for a second visit on Friday, January 16th to offer all students FREE dental hygiene services at not cost to you! Permissions slips have been sent home with your students or are available on our website. Parents, please take advantage of this additional visit from the JCHD.

Friday, February 16th is early release at 12:10 p.m. for students and staff. EJ Secondary School will be closed on Monday, February 19th in observance of President's Day. No school for students and staff!

It is the most important time of the year again! Parent/Teacher Conferences will be Thursday, February 22nd from 1:15 -5:45 p.m. EJSS students are dismissed @ 12:10 p.m. on February 22nd and February 23rd.

East Jackson Secondary School on behalf of the following students: Alexis Chown, Alexis Brzezinski, Peyton Mapes, McKenna Cupp, Hannah Elliott, Grace Vickers, Reagan Rudd and Hannah Saunders would like to thank Mr. Chad Noble; President of Henry Ford Allegiance Health Foundation for inviting our students to take part in this years White Coat Tours. .

Our students were fortunate to interact with surgical teams from Neurosurgery, Open-Heart and Vascular suites. We want to thank all of the HFAH staff for this wonderful opportunity.
