I am excited about the upcoming school year, and hope that you share in my enthusiasm! Teaching is my passion, and I strive to inspire my students to reach their full potential and develop a strong work ethic. Creating a learner-centered environment in which students are actively engaged and exercising critical thinking skills is my primary goal. I hope to demonstrate to my students that I am not only investing in their learning, but in the overall quality of their lives.
As an English/Drama teacher, I also have a strong passion for the performing arts! For the past several years, I have actively participated in theatre, choir, and band programs. This past summer, I was able to train with, and perform for, working Broadway professionals through the MSU Wharton Center.
I highly value creativity and student voice in the classroom!
Have a great year!
