Hi, I am Mrs. Maples.

I am so excited to be teaching first grade this year. This is my third year teaching first grade, I have previously taught second and third grades. This will be my sixth year with East Jackson Community Schools and my tenth year in education. I have previously taught preschool for 4 years before joining East Jackson Community Schools. I have my Bachelors' degree from Eastern Michigan University.

When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two young children, Caleb and Adelynn.
