I was born in 1968 in Jackson, Michigan to Ray and Florence Csage. The youngest of three, I have two older sisters; Sue and Mary. I graduated from Jackson High School in 1986 and attended Western Michigan University, where I graduated in 1991. I met my beautiful wife, Kim, in 1992 and we were married in 1993. I was hired at East Jackson in 1994, so I will be starting my 28th year of teaching at EJ. I have one son, Drake, who graduated from Jackson High in 2015 and Central Michigan in 2019. He is now an engineer for Ford Motor Company.

I have taught 8th grade U.S. History at East Jackson since I was hired. I have also coached multiple sports, including baseball, football, basketball and middle school track. I have had the opportunity to teach and coach many EJ kids and hope to continue for more years to come!
