This school year will mark my 23rd year of teaching.  Of those years, fifteen have been spent here at East Jackson.  I am excited to implement CAFE and Reading Apprenticeship strategies into both my Language Arts classes and my social studies class with my homeroom. I am an active learner and seek out new ways to help my students in the classroom.

I love to read and I hope to pass that passion on to your student. 

"Mom" is my other job to three daughters.  My children are very active in sports and school events; so life is busy.
