Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year. I have been in the classroom for 20 years, starting out as a teaching assistant and then attending Eastern Michigan University to earn a bachelor degree in special education, cognitive impairment. I also have an endorsement in autistic impairment.
This will be my fifth-year teaching at EJHS, and I couldn't be more excited to meet the students and work towards an outstanding school year.
I have lived in the area for eight years and I have two amazing children. I am the proud grandma of five adorable grand babies (well they're technically not "babies" anymore, but they'll always be my babies), and I look forward to many more (now, to only get my son and daughter-in-law on board 🙂 :))
I believe that all students want to learn, and my mission is to create a safe, nurturing, fun and intellectual environment for students to thrive and be all they can be!
