Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year. I have been in the classroom for 18 years, starting out as a teaching assistant and then attending Eastern Michigan University to earn a bachelor degree in special education, cognitive impairment. I also have an endorsement in autistic impairment.
This will be my second year teaching at EJHS and I couldn't be more excited to meet the students and work towards an outstanding school year.
My husband and I have lived in the area for six years and together we have four amazing children. We are the proud grandparents of five adorable grand babies, and I look forward to many more (now, to only get our children on board 🙂 :))
I am also the class advisor for our 9th grade students, and we are looking forward to homecoming and taking on the upper classmen in the float competition, as well as all of the other fun school activities.
I believe that all students want to learn and my mission is to create a safe, nurturing, fun and intellectual environment for students to thrive and be all they can be!
