Why Now?
Our maintenance and custodial staff has done a great job maintaining our buildings using our operational budget, however, we cannot continue to fund large capital improvement projects out of our general fund budget without negatively affecting our current programs and our students. Safety, security, and efficiency of our buildings are of the utmost importance as we continue to build a successful learning environment.
About the bond
The bond proposal is designed to make improvements to multiple areas in the district. All three district buildings will see upgrades that will improve safety, security and efficiency. In addition, the bond proposal will allow the school district to make updates to athletic facilities, replace student instructional technology and continue to improve our bus fleet. Also included in the bond are updates to the HVAC system including air conditioning in classrooms.
