I want to welcome everyone to the 2023-2024 school year! I am so excited to be working with many of your children in the Title I Room. It is going to be a great year with tons of fun and a lot of learning.

I would like to give you a little background information about myself. This is my 30th year of teaching, my 24th year here at East Jackson. I have a Masters Degree in Education and Early Childhood Endorsement. I have taught Kindergarten, First Grade, Second Grade and Third Grade and now I am the Lower Elementary Title I Literacy Coach. Also, at the end of this school year will be a certified Reading Recovery teacher.

I have 3 children that are very active in sports and keep me busy when I am not here at school. My husband and I like to attend all of our children's sporting events and go camping in the summer and I love to read mysteries.
