Professionally:  I am a teacher of a resource room that services grades 4th thru 6th grade at East Jackson Elementary.  I have been teaching for over 30 years.  I graduated with a bachelor's degree from Western Michigan University.   I also have a master's degree from Eastern Michigan University.  

Professional Thoughts:  All students can learn.   Students learn differently and they learn many things from each other.  Reaching all the students in their different learning style is very important.  Giving students that opportunity to learn using their strengths in many different modalities is what my classroom is about.  

Personally: I am married with 2 grown children and a daughter in high school. We love to camp and watch my daughter play softball.
