Hi there East Jackson Families! My name is Elly Knaggs and I am 3rd grade teacher at East Jackson Elementary. This is my first year at East Jackson and my first year teaching. I have had a lot of experience in the education field throughout my education at Ferris State University, including student teaching during the pandemic. I graduated in May 2021 with my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. I am so excited to join the EJ community. I'm looking forward to learning and growing with all of the 3rd graders this year!
In my free time I enjoy reading all kinds of books, baking, knitting, spending time with my family, and exploring new places in Michigan. I have lived in the Lansing area my entire life and I am excited to start exploring Jackson!
